F IFA 19 is the next annual instalment in EA Sport’s football simulation FIFA franchise. Like last year, Cristiano Ronaldo will once again be the cover star for FIFA 19, but this time, he will also be joined by PSG star Neymar. The latest instalment will also be the first one in the series to include licenses from UEFA competitions, so competitions such as the Champions League and Europa League will all be included in the game with full licensing. A custom-made version of the game will also launch on the Nintendo Switch, just like its predecessor.
EA Sports shifted the FIFA franchise over to the Frostbite engine with 2016’s FIFA 17, and the results were immediately apparent, with significantly better visuals, and the game being able to leverage the engine’s added capabilities to deliver a more authentic, realistic, and immersive experience. Like like it, and FIFA 18 the year after, FIFA 19 will also be running on the Frostbite engine, and we should continue to see notable new advancements and additions to the moment-to-moment gameplay as a result. However, there is one catch - FIFA 19 will only run on Frostbite on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Just like last year’s version, FIFA 19 on the Nintendo Switch will run on a custom made engine. EA have stated that there is a possibility that future Switch versions of FIFA could run on Frostbite, but Switch, as a system, is considerably less powerful than its PlayStation and Xbox counterparts, and it simply cannot handle Frostbite in its current state. Not wanting to create a dumbed down version of the engine, EA Sports have instead chosen to build on the engine that they used for FIFA 18 on the Switch with new improvements. Most of these should revolve around better and sharper visuals, while EA Sports are also adding more personality to the teams and individual players and their AI. What other improvements FIFA 19 on the Switch will have (if any) isn’t something EA Sports have spoken about at this point.
The big new addition in this year’s FIFA, which will be seen across all versions of the game, is the Champions League, the biggest club competition in football. After UEFA ended their partnership with Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer earlier this year, it was announced that EA had snagged the rights to the license, which means that FIFA will not include all UEFA competitions, fully licensed. It was the one notable area where it was unanimously agreed that FIFA was lagging behind PES, so fans of the series should be quite excited about this addition.
FIFA 19 will, of course, continue The Journey, the single-player narrative driven campaign that was introduced in FIFA 17 and returned for a second season in FIFA 18. The story will once again focus on the young rising star Alex Hunter, and continue following his journey both on and off the pitch, as a rising football star, and as a person as well. EA Sports have confirmed that the UEFA Champions League will indeed be part of The Journey as well, meaning that Alex Hunter will get to play in the biggest club football competition in the world.
FIFA 18 also featured Kim Hunter, Alex Hunter’s half-sister, and Danny Williams, his best friend, as playable characters for brief periods, but whether or not they will be returning in a playable capacity in FIFA 19’s The Journey isn’t something EA Sports have spoken to yet. We wouldn’t bet against it though. We also know that this is supposed to be the last chapter in Alex Hunter’s story, so it should be interesting to see how things are tied off. Beyond these things, however, not much else has been shared by EA about The Journey, but they have promised more details on the mode before the game launches.
We’ve spoken quite a bit about the Champions League, and about how EA have managed to snagged UEFA licenses for FIFA 19. It is, obviously, perhaps the biggest new addition in this year’s instalment, and one that is bound to excite a number of FIFA fans. But what exactly will it entail? Well, ever competition under the UEFA banner will be included in the game - this includes, of course, the Champions League, the Europa League, and the UEFA Super Cup, which is a match that is held at the beginning of a season between the current holders of the Champions League and the Europa League (just in case you weren’t aware).
All of these competitions will be featured across all modes of FIFA 19. We’ve already mentioned that the Champions League is going to be a major part of The Journey, but it will also be included in the Career Mode, as well as Ultimate Team. With full support for all UEFA competitions, this means that relegations and promotions across the two tournaments will be part of the Career Mode. So if, for example, you should finish third in your Champions League group in the Career Mode, you will then be relegated to the Europa League for that season. Of course, it goes without saying that players can also play single exhibition Champions League matches should they wish to do so, or just boot up a single Champions League tournament from the game’s tournament modes.
UEFA licenses will, of course, be included in all versions of the game (including the Nintendo Switch). You can expect proper presentation and user interface changes to go along with these licenses within the game, including pre-match cutscenes, realistic Champions League-like crowds, and what have you. Meanwhile, during UEFA matches, FIFA 19 won’t feature commentary from the regular duo of Martin Tyler and Alan Smith, but will instead feature a new commentary team, comprising of Derek Rae and Lee Dixon. This duo will only be in the commentary box for UEFA matches, though.
As far the actual on-pitch action, EA Sports are making some small but important changes to give players greater control over the game. Among these changes is the new Active Touch System, a new system that changes how every player on the pitch receives or strikes a ball. This is going to lead to more fluid movement, and add more personality and authenticity to the players, and is being touted as a complete rewrite of the systems that govern how a player approaches and receives a ball. Another new system, called 50/50 battles, also promises to be a significant new addition. This will determine, based on the specific attributes of a player and their movement at the time on the pitch, how or even if they will be successful during on-pitch physical battles for possession of the ball. While previous FIFA games often devolved to holding down a button for these purposes, with this new system working behind the scenes, possession battles between players should be more realistic and dynamic.
Dynamic Tactics is also a new addition in FIFA 19. For those who have been craving deeper tactical control over their game plans in FIFA, this system promises to be an interesting new addition. Dynamic Tactics will allow players to customize and create their own sets of tactics before a match, and EA are promising a great deal of control and fine-tuning for the players for these purposes. In the middle of a match, then, you can switch between the tactics you’ve created on the fly, to afford you greater and deeper control over your strategies during a match, and react to how a match is progressing with a greater level of strategy.
Timed Finishing is also a new system added to the game, and it, too, sounds interesting. Thanks to this system, after you press the shot button, you can now press it once again right before your player kicks the ball. The timing needs to be precise, but if you do time it correctly, it will lead to a much better shot - more accurate, more powerful, with more curve. It is, however a risk vs reward system, and the timing of the second button press will have to be very precise. If you fail to get it right, it will lead to a disastrously bad shot. Interestingly enough, EA Sports have also added a one button controls option to FIFA 19. FIFA has already had a two button option for some time now, but for those who do not want the level of control FIFA is offering (or do not care about it) and simply want a more relaxed, accessible experience, the one button mode is now also an option.
As for changes that are specific to the Switch version of FIFA 19, the most obvious has to be Online Friendlies, which will now allow you to play an online five match-long season with anyone on your friends list. Online options were severely lacking in the Switch version of FIFA 18, so this should come as welcome news to fans. Beyond that, EA are also tweaking things to give players greater controls over their shots, while also adding more realism to the way teams and players play. What this means is that teams and individual players in FIFA 19 on the Switch will now play more like they do in real life. On the visual side, EA Sports are upgrading the game’s graphics, while also adding interface changes and more to improve the game’s presentation aspect.

Whether you’re an experience FIFA player or not, we highly recommend that for the best possible Career Mode experience you increase your difficulty level to something outside of your comfort zone. Players often forget that cruising through Career Mode on an easy difficulty, racking up those wins, can quickly get old and doesn’t provide the challenge that Career Mode is built upon.
If you’re a somewhat active FIFA player or just a general gamer, Professional is a great level to start at, it isn’t too challenging but will definitely give you a run for your money.
As we have already mentioned, FIFA 19 has received a complete overhaul when it comes to tactics. Although tactics may have already been a part of the series in the past, FIFA 19 goes deeper than ever before with the all-new Dynamic Tactics.
With an all-new in-depth tactics customization option that is available both pre-match and during the game, players can watch firsthand as their team transforms on the field into their brand new - completely customizable - attack or defensive plan.
To make the most out of Dynamic Tactics though, always remember that you kick-off the match on Balanced. While balanced isn't necessarily bad, there are a number of much better options available by using Left or Right on the D-Pad to access other tactics such as Ultra Defensive, Defensive, Attacking, and Ultra Attacking.
A great example of these tactics coming in handy, is when using tactics such as Ultra Defensive during the final minutes of a match that you are winning, in hopes of avoiding any potential goals by your opponent.
Always remember though, if the standard tactics are not suited to your team, simply create a completely custom game plan that is tailored just for your team in the tactics menu.
A common mistake that many players make in FIFA is that they rely far too heavily on the sprint button. Not only does constantly sprinting eventually wear out your players, but you’ll also have every limited ball control and chances are you will likely lose possession while sprinting.
Simply slow it down and only sprint for those quick attacking plays.
One of the biggest advantages you can have when playing FIFA is knowing exactly who is on your team and what their biggest weaknesses and strengths are.
Is your striker left or right footed? Should they be shooting from a particular side of goal for the best results? Which of your defenders have the pace to keep up with opponents that manage to break through the defensive line? Does your player have the ability to consistently pull off technical moves without failing?
These are just some of the many questions that you need to know, as utilizing each of your team members to their fullest potential can completely change your playing style.

While it will take a few seasons to get their overall ratings up, the best thing about Wonderkids is that due to their low overall ratings, their transfer costs are usually very low and will barely make a dent in your budget, especially when playing a small club team that is limited on budget.
Watching people play FIFA on YouTube and Twitch may seem fairly obvious, but you will actually be surprised just how overlooked it can be.
With thousands of people around the world uploading their FIFA content on these platforms, many will often share their walkthroughs, guides, tips, and even gameplay.
So, if you’re still struggling to improve, try watching some of these videos, especially some of EA’s professional level FIFA eSport competitions and see if you can replicate some of their moves and strategies.
You may actually even be surprised at how much you can improve just by watching others play.
It is highly recommended that if you are utilizing tactical plans, ensure you have your quick tactics ready to use, especially given that countermeasures are vital to your team’s success in FIFA 19.
If you’re a wing player like me, you’ll know all too well the frustrations of often having an empty goal box with no players to cross the ball to. To combat this issue, press Up, Up on the d-pad and you’ll be able to bring in more players to box.
With the simple press of a few buttons, you can now bring in more players to the box, creating a number of new passing opportunities.
Goal side is often defined as being between the goal you are defending and the player you are marking and is one of the biggest mistakes players often make in-game and in real life that often ends up leading to a goal being scored.
By positioning yourself goal side you will make it even harder for your opponent to score, as they have you blocking their path to goal. Not only does this pressure the opponent, but the chances of defending a pass or cross to the box is significantly more likely.
When positioned correctly – no matter how terrible the player may be at defending – the attacker will always have difficulty trying to score when you are goal side.
While Standing Tackles are a great alternative to those dangerous slide tackles, they will still get you pulled up quite frequently and often carded. Along with these consequences though, diving in will often give up your players position – which can be a fatal mistake when using a defender – as it usually takes a few seconds for the player to recover and adjust from sticking their leg out.
Instead of risking your player's position, don’t fall for their trap of rushing in for a tackle, rather stick it out and apply pressure on them by using Jockey (Hold L2 / LT).
This method is the most ideal for defending and will allow your player to use their body to cut off the space your opponent is trying to get to.
As tempting as it may be to switch to the nearest player and attack the opponent with the ball immediately, this is usually the biggest mistake players make when defending in FIFA.
Dragging a defender out of position is never an ideal move as it creates empty space behind you that the attacking opponents definitely won’t hesitate to take advantage of.
In situations where your opponents may be closing in on your defence, it is always best to use either a midfielder or winger to help defend the opponent. This allows your defensive line time to gather and act as a final barrier if the opponent breaks away from your first two lines of defence.
It’s important to remember that Forwards and Strikers need to be defending too, as they are your first line of defence, followed by your midfield. When your forwards and midfield are working together to defend, the chance of your opponent’s getting a shot on goal is greatly minimized.
By using L1 (PS4) and LB (Xbox) players can gain even more control over the ball, as Close Control enables you to keep the ball closer to your feet, making passes and through balls more effective and accurate than ever.
This particular mechanic is great for close quarter situations such as a crowded goal box, where you may be worried that you could lose the ball to your opponent.
Introduced this year in FIFA 19, players can now time their shots on goal with the all-new Timed Finishing mechanic. Set to introduce an all-new level of skill within the game, players can now achieve more power and accuracy on every shot, giving players a much higher chance of scoring on every shot at goal.
However, mastering this mechanic won’t be easy, so it is highly recommended that beginners only use the mechanic when the ball is coming onto the player. It's worth remembering though, that using the standard shooting mechanic while dribbling is still very effective and should be used when not timing your shot.
It is also highly recommended that if you cannot perfect the timing of this new mechanic, you should always aim more towards a late shot, as it will in most cases simply count as a regular shot. Whereas, shooting early can often lead to missed balls and shots going way off target.
Playing down the wing is my go to playing style and one that I have managed to master over the years in FIFA. But, playing down the wing can often be quite tricky, especially when you’re faced with an opponent that is hot on your heels and blocking your cross into the box.
A great way to confuse your opponent though is to perform a fake pass (press square and then X), this will throw off your opponent and give you just enough time and space to complete your cross.
That’s right, corners are still broken in FIFA 19, making it a great opportunity to use them to your advantage. At the time of launch, the best method for using corners isn’t to cross it into the centre of the box, but rather call in a second player and have them either pass it around between your team members or to simply cross it into the box and utilize the new space that has just been created.
Although this may technically be a form of abusing EA's poor system, there is no denying that in most cases – especially online – you will be faced with similar situations, so simply embrace it and learn how to successfully master the new corner taking system.
We get it, there is no better feeling than scoring a great goal, especially ones outside the box. But, they aren’t really a realistic option and will often fail, especially as goalkeepers are still very overpowered in FIFA 19.
It is also important that when you are shooting at goal, don’t try to score on those tough angled shots, as more often than not, you’ll fail. Simply take your time and wait for the best moment to shoot, as we promise that by using this tip, you'll have much more luck on landing a superb goal.

FIFA 19 is an upcoming football simulation video game developed by EA Canada, as part of Electronic Arts' FIFA series. Announced 9 June 2018 for its E3 2018 press conference, it will be released 28 September 2018 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Gameplay changes on FIFA 19 include the new "Active Touch System"— an overhaul of player control, "timed finishing"— where the kick button may be pressed a second time to determine the exact moment the ball is actually kicked), "50/50 battles"— a system for determining how likely a player will win loose balls, and "Dynamic Tactics"— which allows players to configure strategies, and switch between them in real-time during a match. Details on the game's campaign mode, The Journey: Champions, will be unveiled in the future.
FIFA 19 introduces the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Super Cup competitions to the game, after their licences with Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer expired. The game will have support for promotion and relegation between the Champions League and Europa League.
Commentators Martin Tyler and Alan Smith return as regular commentators with Derek Rae and Lee Dixon as Champions League commentators. New graphics and stadium have been implemented.

Why is the country of Africa not available to use
Commercial strategy from EA.
I have a few complaints. Croatia, Costa Rica, Iran, Ghana and other top African teams are more deserving of their national teams being in the game over ones like Canada and India. Get those weak teams off. My next complaint is with some teams being unfairly rated low while some teams (mostly from MLS) being rating to high in comparison. There is something wrong when, for example, that Columbus Crew is rated the same as most strong South American teams. I will like to hear the argument on why MLS’s best teams deserve a 3 1/2 star rating as clubs like Atletico Mineiro and Atletico Nacional. Considering MLS teams have not accomplished anything in CONCACAF for nearly 2 decades, I know anyone arguing on behalf of MLS will have nothing to counter my argument. CONCACAF is not on par with CONMEBOL nor better than AFC. MLS has not done better than the in-game AFC leagues that are unfairly ranked weaker than them. I hate how EA FIFA is appealing to Americans inferiority complex in the sport by giving into demands to make it seem like American clubs are becoming stronger than they really are. American clubs are growing in quality, but they are still only a 3 at best if a club like Colombia’s Santa Fe is given the same rating.
I understand UEFA is the most popular confederation in the world with the most popular tournaments, but can we please have some variety? Konami does not have licensing for Copa Libertadores anymore. Please put that in the game to compliment and add more appeal to the South American leagues added. Konami’s older PES games having both the UEFA Championship League, Europa League and Copa Libertadores was a feature I always dreamed EA FIFA would add to their game series. Sadly, that may never happen.
My final complaint is not seeking Russia and Greece’s leagues added to the game. There are actually good teams in weak leagues that make it far in UEFA’s tournament that deserve to be in the ‘other’ section instead of strong teams in strong to decent level leagues like Russia and Greece clubs.

In this guide, we have outlined some of the FIFA 19 FUT Premier League Squad Builds to kick-start your adventure into the 2018-2019 season. Squads in our FIFA 19 Guide range from the Starter Pack to a more competitive and the Elite Squad.
Starter Pack will include cheap players to make a decent squad under 30k. Competitive Pack will include some stars but will still be under 100k when it comes to overall cost.
Lastly, the Elite Squad has no limits and will be very hard to put together, as there is a lot of luck involved in getting those players from packs. Moreover, do note that the prices of players may fluctuate during the course of the season.

While Spanish La Liga is more successful in recent times, it is not the case in FUT as Premier League got the influx of foreign talent.
Premier League, in general, is very versatile with many teams playing with many different tactics. That is why it is one of the most enjoyable leagues to watch as well. Therefore, there is no way of knowing which formation will suit better for the league.
FIFA Ultimate Team is quite different when compared to regular games because some stats have a higher weight than others, especially pace, dribbling, and strength. We will be putting together our squads while keeping that in mind.
Firstly, let us get into the low budget squad. Well, this squad is not cheap (incredibly, at least) but it will cost less than 30K in coins. We will be using the 3-5-2 formation for this squad, as it provides a lot of safety in defense.
You want to have both types of attackers in this type of formation i. e. on fast and one who can win aerial dual and fend players off.
Giroud has enough strength to hold on a defender and can come in handy in an aerial duel. Joshua King will come in handy during the counter-attack with his speed.
On flanks, both LM/RM positions are covered with speedsters so they contribute in both offense and defense. At CAM, you will want someone who is a playmaker as well as good at long-range shooting.
Because there is a lot of gap between Attack and Midfield, you will find having lack of options – someone with long-range shooting can come in handy.
At CDM, you want to have one Beast and one Box-to-Box – Beast can fend off attacks while Box-to-Box going a bit up to contribute to attack.
With 3 at the back, put the players with high strength on sides and one with speed at the center. At times, there may be gaps in your defense so you want someone faster in the center to cover those.
Competitive Squad of FIFA 19 FUT Premier League Squad Builds will help you in the end. You can use this squad to climb the ladder with minimum effort.
The squad will cost less than 100K but prices may change during the season that will change the overall value of the squad.
In a standard 4-3-3 (2), you want to have pace on both your wingers as well as wingbacks to be productive. Your striker will need enough pace and strength to be lethal on any given opportunity. It will also be better to have someone with aerial ability.
You will want you CDM to stay behind to cover for the counterattack in Tactics Setting. There will be gaps in the midfield left behind by the Midfielders when they push forward.
Usually, in this type of formation, you can play both on the wings as well as fast-paced passing style or you can mix it up to be more versatile.
Elite Squad will have the best players in the league and you will have to work very hard to get those players, especially considering the drop rate of unique cards.
This squad can be very destructive against any opponent. We will be using 4-3-3(2); this formation can counter most formations in the game.
One of my biggest obstacles in creating the squad was lack of top-notch defenders in the Premier League. A majority of defenders are fairly good but there is always lack of trust due to the high-attacking nature of Premier League football.
As stated above, the defense will probably be your weakest point so you use the same strat in tactics keeping your ADM back to help.
One of the major things that will help in the attack is the height of defense, especially Van Dijk who is 6’4 – something that is insanely helpful in set piece scenarios.

«Вот начинается новый сезон, снова для FIFA готовится трон!» — такой переделкой старой кричалки фанатов ЦСКА и «Динамо» можно описать ситуацию c футбольными симуляторами сегодня. Действительно, футсим от EA Sports за последний год продался тиражом более 24 миллионов копий, ближайший конкурент от Konami с трудом взял рубеж в один миллион. И учитывая, какой получиась PES 2019, слабо верится, что господство «элетроников» будет потревожено. Однако с трона всегда можно свалиться даже без чужой помощи, если допустить несколько критических ошибок. Вот их сейчас и будем выискивать.
Начнём с самого главного — с футбола. Здесь те, кто видел три последние серии «ФИФЫ», совершенно не удивятся, ведь основы остались примерно теми же, что закладывались осенью 2015-го и потом были перенесены на Frostbite, где работают до сих пор. Нас ждёт довольно вязкий в середине поля, но одновременно с этим атакующий футбол, где надо хорошо уметь защищаться, чтобы не пропустить три-четыре гола. Это очень приятный баланс, игра не скатывается в чистую «аркадность», но и не становится симулятором до мозга костей.
По-прежнему финты, ложные замахи и тому подобные хитрости решают слишком много, поэтому дриблеры в атакующей группе здесь очень нужны. Теперь логика первого касания заметно переработана, правым стиком можно выделывать различные подбросы и обработки (даже грудью!), от этого очень сильно зависит отскок мяча. Одновременно с этим выросла роль разрезающих пасов, а вот банальные забросы вперёд стали работать чуть хуже. Играть головой стало чуть приятнее, забивать — легче, даже если у вас не Питер Крауч на острие, главнее стал выбор позиции и борьба за неё.
А вот удары ногами переработаны полностью, но опционально. Если нажать «круг» (в стандартной раскладке) второй раз, появится специальная шкала с меткой, движущейся из красной зоны в зелёную. Если ваша реакция достаточно хороша, то повторное нажатие вовремя позволит лупануть в угол так, что вратарь вытащить не сможет. Система требует тренировки, освоить её непросто, поэтому при желании можно не пользоваться. Но именно с системой Timed Finishing можно забивать потрясающие «банки» издали, по-другому заколотить с 35 метров будет сложно.
Голы тут на удивление разнообразные, вратари могут как невероятно выручить, так и пропустить дикую «пенку».
Но в целом, какой способ бить ни выбирай, футбол в FIFA 19 оставляет приятное, пусть и не совсем свежее, впечатление. Даже фанат PES со стажем будет чувствовать себя вполне в норме, по крайней мере, неожиданные пасы-обрезы и отскоки, приводящие к голам, случаются тут довольно часто.
Ещё одна вещь, которая порадует привыкших к футсиму от Konami, — расширенные возможности для тактики. И это очень крутая, пусть и полностью скопированная у PES, особенность. Настраивается абсолютно всё — широта расположения защиты, поведение при потере мяча, степень прессинга на чужой половине и даже количество игроков на угловых. Более того, для каждого из четырёх типов атакующей стратегии можно выбрать свою тактику. Забили «Барселоне» два в первые полчаса и хотите «засушить» матч? Пожалуйста, ставим для сверхзащитной стратегии какую-нибудь 4-2-3-1 и врубаем прессинг. А если надо смять соперника в конце — просто перед матчем ставим для сверхатакующей стратегии 4-2-4 и подключаем на стандарты ещё и пару защитников.
Не то чтобы это всё было обязательно для побед над компьютером, но в матчах с человеком будет очень полезно. Тем более что вариантов для соревнования с живыми оппонентами стало больше. Главное из нововведений опять же знакомо любителям PES — это еврокубки. Лига Чемпионов, Лига Европы, Суперкубок УЕФА получили свои полноценные воплощения, у главного турнира даже есть отдельный режим для максимальной аутентичности. Так как у Electronic Arts нет трудностей с лицензиями, групповой этап ЛЧ в FIFA 19 точно такой же, как в жизни. Все три наших участника — «Локо», армейцы и «Спартак» — на месте, их составы повторяют реальные, хотя рейтинг некоторых игроков вызывает вопросы.
Например, у Фёдора Чалова, главного молодого таланта среди русских нападающих, жалкие 71 — в PES столько же у Ивана Новосельцева, который давно не вызывается в сборную.
А вот с внешностью, особенно у звёзд, проблем нет. Топовые футбольные мастера выглядят и двигаются именно так, как и должны, здесь мой личный фаворит — быстрейший игрок мира Гарет Бэйл с его фирменным стилем движения. Лицензионных стадионов стало даже больше — добавились целых 16 арен из «Ла Лиги», арена «Боруссии Дортмунд», кардиффский «Миллениум» и ещё кучка построек. А вот с чемпионатами есть значимая для нас проблема — Российская Премьер-Лига стала эксклюзивом конкурентов, и карточек русских футболистов теперь станет гораздо меньше, тем более что «Зенит» для Лиги Европы лицензировать не удалось. Как по мне, это весомая потеря, но полностью лицензированные «Ла Лига» или Английская Премьер-лига её сильно скрашивают.
Именно в этих двух турнирах предстоит выступать в режиме «История». Значит ли это, что Алекс Хантер начнёт менять клубы, прямо как Златан? Вовсе нет. Просто в сюжетном режиме FIFA 19 у нас три полноценных героя. И это лучшее, что случалось с приключениями темнокожей суперзвезды. Логично, что напарниками топ-форварда стали его друг Дэнни Уильямс и сестра Ким. Ими можно было управлять и в прошлом году, но там это было опционально и совсем немного, а тут — обязательно и времени уделено примерно наравне с Алексом. Сам сюжет не избавился от натянутости и несколько нелепых попыток показать изнанку жизни футболистов-профи, но за счёт тасовки героев вышел самым бодрым и достойно завершил трилогию.
Как и прежде, за прохождение сюжетного режима вы получите персонажа для Ultimate Team.
В режиме FIFA Ultimate Team, самом популярном и в рекламе не нуждающемся, настоящих изменений тоже немного. Появились карточки героев Лиги Чемпионов, добавился режим Division Rivals, где вас «мэтчат» с соперниками примерно того же уровня и даже соседнего региона. Упростили «Лигу выходного дня», снизив количество матчей в ней до 30. Всё это сделало путь к высшим дивизионам чуть проще, но от необходимости либо «гриндить», либо платить до конца не избавило. Впрочем, чтобы стать киберспортсменом, надо вкладывать много времени.
Маловато перемен и в «Карьере». Тут вообще кажется, что на принципиальные улучшения решили забить — кроме косметических правок, позволяющих проще отслеживать необходимых футболистов, в режиме за менеджера отличий от прошлого сезона не обнаружить. Ну да, есть дополнительные детали «для погружения», типа изменения интерфейса в дни той же Лиги Чемпионов, но фанатам давно хочется большей вариативности — чтобы начинать с клубов низшей лиги и пробиваться наверх, например. Даже пара комментаторов будто устала и решила ничего особо не менять (кроме фраз про сами понимаете какой турнир) — хотя Черданцев и Генич озвучивают уже четвёртую серию симулятора, их реплики по-прежнему звучат оторванно от контекста. Хотя под гимн сами понимаете какого турнира они зачитывают неплохо — даже веришь, что это трансляция.
Фанаты на трибунах получили больше анимаций, на стадионах появились огромные баннеры, но для полного реализма этого пока не хватает.
FIFA уверенно остаётся лидером среди футсимов. Игровой процесс, презентация, вариативность, возможности для совместного развлечения с людьми, база лицензий — всё у EA Sports как минимум на очень хорошем уровне. Но в сезоне 2018—19 это лидерство напоминает то, что происходило со «Спартаком» на рубеже веков: развития почти нет, а в некоторых моментах начинаются заимствования и даже самолюбование. Как помните, 2000-е резко изменили соотношение сил в российском футболе — свежими лидерами стали «Локомотив», ЦСКА и «Зенит». И если главный симулятор «ногомяча» не начнёт делать ощутимые шаги вперёд, его может ждать аналогичная участь.
Плюсы: очень приличный футбол, балансирующий между симулятором и аркадой; интересно переработана система ударов; много дополнений в тактике; ещё больше лицензированных клубов, стадионов, лиг и реалистичных спортсменов; Лига Чемпионов.
Минусы: в целом маловато изменений, особенно в режимах «Карьера», FUT и геймплее вообще; нет российской лиги и всех наших участников еврокубков.
