A team has different expectations of you as a player. Priorities for these expectations vary depending on the team. It is recommended to choose a team with lots of medium priorities to start out your career.
Here are some ways to improve your player in career mode!
You will be able to train 5 times per week to increase your skill. There are drills that cover Dribbling, Defending, Passing, Shooting, and Set Pieces! Choose which drills best helps your player depending on your position.
You will be able to either take control of the team or the player. It is recommended to take control of the team to help better position your Career Mode Player.
As a manager, you will need to micromanage everything about the team. If you are up to the challenge, this is for you, and here are some tips to help you get started!

It's worth noting that a high potential rating doesn't guarantee that a player will reach that number. As with players in real life, FIFA 19 young players must be satisfied with their job, have plenty of game time, and take part in training in order to grow.
So you now know how important Potential Ratings can be, how do you check the ratings exactly? Well, Potential is actually directly tied to scouting, and is essentially an evaluated value given by your scout to a potential signing. This value depends on how good your scouting is, which you can improve by scouting as often as you can. You can pay more for more effective scouts, with a scout’s effectiveness indicated by the star rating below each one. It's worth bearing in mind your scouting ability when investing in young players as a high margin of error can result in some average players making it through the cracks. Big clubs will be very reluctant to sell high potential players, so weigh up whether or not is worth your time and money negotiating if the club is just going to turn you down anyway Transfer Negotiations are extremely important when signing a young player. Go overboard on goal-scoring bonuses and salary, and you'll be able to tip the scales in your favor Consider putting your young players through regular training, it'll help them reach their true potential. Keep your Young Players on the bench at the very least. You can then bring them on late game and give them some experience without jeopardizing the outcome of a game.

Now you are able to choose this difficulty in the career mode. Player Training – There is an ability in FIFA 19 career mode to train a player’s strength and sprint speed. Better User-Interface – FIFA 19 Career mode’s UI has been revamped and improved. The better interface helps you to navigate better between menus and enjoy the game. Pre-game Cutscenes – You will also get to see the players getting off the bus at the beginning of a game along with mid-game cut scenes of players warming up and taking selfies with the crowd and etc. Managers Press Conference – Eventually, EA has added this feature to FIFA career mode. You are now able to customise your managers and have them host press conferences. You will have multiple dialogue options to react to your games the way you want to, keep that in mind that your choices may dramatically affect your career. Release Clause – When searching for new players to sign you can now tick a box to only see players with a release clause in their contract. This will save you a lot of time and money.

It would be a good if your player could be captain in career mode. In the game 2k your player can buy clothes and accessories it would be a hit if some sort of function like this could happen in fifa 20 career mode as there is no longer going to be a journey mode.

While it’s not as overpowered as it has been in recent instalments, pace is still important in FIFA 19. Whether you’re chasing an attacker or a through ball, having the fastest players in your team can make all the difference. When assessing players, Sprint Speed and Acceleration are given a lot of weight, nobody seems to favour slow players. 93 sprint speed and 91 acceleration. The Shakhtar striker also has 78 potential.
79 rated currently, could grow to 82. An effective right winger with 93 sprint speed and 91 acceleration.
No real growth potential here but matches the previous entrants’ 93 sprint speed and beats them with 92 acceleration.
Matches Gerso with sprint speed at 93 and acceleration at 92. The Spaniard plays at left midfield and only has one potential growth point.

Thankfully not everyone on our list of fastest players in FIFA 19 is a winger. The Newcastle right back has pace to burn with both stats ranked at 93. His 81 potential means that he still has room for improvement though.
Two full backs in a row, also with 93 for both stats. Alba is older than Yedlin so probably won’t grow any more but is already an exceptional defender.
93 sprint speed and acceleration in a striker makes it much more viable to play lofted through balls. The Leipzig man is already an impressive 83 overall but has the potential to reach 87.
Also a striker but his 62 rating and 68 potential would put him behind Werner. However, he can match him for sprint speed and his 94 acceleration edges it.

81 rated but definitely an exciting prospect considering his 86 potential. His 93 sprint speed and 94 acceleration is invaluable on the wing.

Another left midfielder, but the American is 69 rated and has 76 potential so might be more appropriate if you’re playing in a lower league. He also has 93 sprint speed but his 96 acceleration beats Coman’s.
Unlikely to grow any more but shouldn’t start to decline for a few seasons. The skilful Juventus winger has the joint-best acceleration in the game at 97, but his 93 sprint speed means he finishes outside the top half.
Not the best acceleration at 85, but his 94 sprint speed lands him spot #25. Considering he is only 70 overall, those stats could improve by the time the right midfielder hits his 81 potential.
Despite his 94 sprint speed, 87 acceleration means he is more effective over longer distances. A 67 rated right midfielder who has 72 potential.
An interesting striking option. 94 sprint speed and 89 acceleration is phenomenal for a 69 rated player. Even better is the fact he can reach 81 overall in the right conditions.
Another striker, but not quite as highly rated – 66 overall with 73 potential. Can match Oberlin’s 94 sprint speed but his 90 acceleration is superior.
74 rated striker that can grow a little and hit his 77 potential. 94 sprint speed and 91 acceleration is seriously impressive.
No real growth potential but if you’re looking for a striker around the 70 mark, you’ll have a hard time beating 94 sprint speed and 92 acceleration.
Also has 94 sprint speed and 92 acceleration, making him one of the quickest full backs in the game. The West Ham man can hit 76 overall but starts out at 73.
If you need a reliable and pacey striker, Acheampong may be your man. 94 sprint speed and 92 acceleration is very good for a 75 rated player. His 80 potential means he could get even better.
Another striker with 94 sprint speed and 92 acceleration. His 81 rating and 87 potential means he is more suited to a Champions League level club.
Another player with 94 sprint speed, 92 acceleration but the Real Madrid youngster is a left winger. His 77 rating is decent enough but they splashed the cash because of his 92 potential.
Considering this striker is only 61 overall and is only likely to hit 64 at his peak, 94 sprint speed and 93 acceleration is exceptional.
Pace stats at 94 and 93 are useful in a right midfielder. Kiwomya is rated 62 overall but has a potential of 74, making it likely that a team outside of League One snaps him up.
Another right midfielder with 94 sprint speed and 93 acceleration. Bifouma is a more readymade option starting out at 75 overall.
An incredibly pacey left midfielder, considering his overall rating is only 68. The Argentinian has 94 for both sprint speed and acceleration.
